Epic Sedona - The Map Listing 12 popular trails complete with driving to trailhead and trail instructions, the back of the map contains detailed information to help guide hikers and mountain bikers. Compiled with the aid of local mountain bike and hiking enthusiasts, each trail was mapped using a GPS mounted to a mountain bike, measuring and recording trail features. These features are coded and marked on the front of the map, showing a graphic representation of each trail including trail type and difficulty. The trails are set against the backdrop of a 3D map of the Sedona area that was created for Sedona Bike and Bean, a local bike shop located in the Village of Oak Creek, south of Uptown Sedona. Click here to see a sample of the Lost Watch Trail. Also included on the map are graphic representations of many hiking trails in wilderness areas. These trails are off-limits to mountain bikers.
